The new sharing economy

From my post on Openwear

We have found a very interesting research on the new sharing economy by Latitude and Shareable.

They argue that the on-line sharing economy is no more a virtual phenomenon; at the contrary, it’s creating a whole new world of off-line, material sharing.

A very interesting point is that 78% of The New Sharing Economy study participants felt that experiences they’ve had interacting with people online have made them more open to the idea of sharing offline resources with strangers.

Read the whole research presentation on Scribd or on this (heavy) .pdf.
